I love the vin diesel quote...I always thought the last thing you want to do after a hard run on a turbo car was shut it off? I'm sure they've got some kind of lubrication system for it, but man that freaked me out when he killed it and you could hear the turbo still spinning.

World's Fastest LSx could fall into many scenarios. Everyone wants to say they have the fastest of something be it stock cam, stock heads, heads & cam, stock drivetrain, stock suspension, naturally-aspirated, nitrous-assisted, turbo-charged, fastest red f-body, stock interior and the list could go on and on...

Like said the scenario is drag racing. 1/4 mile ET and MPH. That's it just LSX powered vehicle. He or I did not care if it was a mustang, a ferrari, a camaro, or a taboggan. As long as it went down the 1320 and was powered by an ls based motor. It was just a discussion we had. And from searching and this thread we came up with w2w.

If you're wanting to know the quickest LSX-powered vehicle, that's a whole different deal. The LSX is the GM Performance Parts block. LSx would be production-based.

We need to to basically break it down:
Fastest/Quickest LSx Anything goes - 6.8s @ 20x
Fastest/Quickest LSx - Radials - 7.5s @ 18x
Fastest/Quickest LSx - Slicks - 7.5s @ 18x
The cars will find their way into the correct breakdown. Mike Moran's Casper that Kurt has on loan would go into the "Anything goes" class since its a tube frame car.
I know that Major has been 50s or 60s on radials and Steve F. has been 50s on slicks.

You're not getting my point.....there are many speed records for LSx powered vehicles. The original post did not specify what fastest record they were inquiring about......had the question been for the overall fastest that would of been better.
