my best ever is 32mpg. I have a 2000 z28 with 2.73 gears. At the time it had a stock stall and stock everything except for the lid and air filter. Was on a roadtrip from orlando to atlanta. Had 255/45/17 rear tires. A/c for half the trip, tops off the other half

From Florida to West Virginia i was able to get on average of 31 MPG on the way up and 28 MPG on the way back. Thats all highway driving, but as some know that its alot of 80 MPH driving in heavey traffic, also ALOT of hills, and mountain driving.

Lid, Exhaust, and 275's all around
Managed to get about 355 miles out of my last tank, that was driving to my sisters house over an hour away, about another hour and a half to kansas city, then back home, where i finished the tank in a few days city driving. No AC at all, driving in the rain so i usually took it easy.

Highway going 70 MPH I'll pull 26 MPG. Never tried keeping it at 60 mph it's impossible
Commuting to work (70% HWY, traffic, aggressive start/stop, 40 miles per direction) I'll reach between 21-23 MPG
All "city" is around 19.

when i got my 99 a4 2:73's bone stock i had to drive it about 500 miles to get home.and got about 360 miles on a tank all highway using 93 octane 68mph on cruise but now intown i can make it about 18 ish and 22 highway city highway mix,easy cruising

320 Miles to the tank with "Open" city driving. "Open"=Those city streets where you can do 45mph for about 4 miles and then idle for 40 second intervals.
Fun thing to do: Baby the car through 3 or 4 tanks, and then on the next tank floor it at the bottom of 4th gear.
It surprised the hell outta me gettin thrown back in my seat like that

I made it around 230 or so (95% freeway) and was down to 1/4th of a tank so i filled up. Also i only use 93 octane for my car it keeps the motor cleaner. My avrage freeway speed was about 70 with cruse control on. It was a very open hick town road mainly stright and flat. also it was around 78 F outside concidering it was 2am
It gets better than a SUV or Truck.

I have a 2000 TA with a D-1SC, A4, 4000 stall, 3.73 gears, 800+ hp, with the a/c on and cruise control at 70 when I could. 17 hwy. In town normal driving I got 12 mpg.

stock 3.55 gear and stock motor and trans 28 highway 21 town
built 346 with 3600 stall and 3.73s 23 mpg highway and not ratable in town lol

2002 SS a4, mods in signature. stock rear end. i got 27mpg on the highway driving to and from disneyland not too long ago. car does have low miles though, so that helps. around town it gets about 19-20mpg.

99% of my driving is in the city..I get about 170-180 miles on a tank...3.23 with no mods. Seems pretty bad to me. The few times I get on the highway I get about 260 miles to the tank.
