Damn, Im comparing my previous post to everybody else's and my mpg's seem very low. I guess I should change the plugs, probably never been changed before. Waiting untill I decide to install my headers though.

ive drove from Crosset, AR to Van Buren, AR and had alittle over 1/4 of a tank left. so about another 50 or so miles till i was out.
drove mostly 55/65mph with some 70 mph from Little Rock, AR on.
290.20 miles + what was left.
i could have went about 340 miles. ive gotten this result about 7 times now as i do the drive often.
I am dyno tuned for 93 octane so im sure that helped some also.

I get that in my usually aggressively driven, 342 geared, 3600 stalled and cammed '00 SS...best ever was 25-ish...
Definitely no complaints having a mid-high 11 second car that gets 20+ MPG's...

Although sometimes (since I rarely drag race) I do wish I had a six speed...

2002 Camaro SS 6-spd 30k miles. Just Bolt ons and a tune, i average 18.5 every tank with 80% highway and 20% city. thats only 250 miles to a tank(13.5 Gallons). all highway I got 300 to my tank..Im pissed because everyone I talk to with a 6 spd gets way better gas mileage then that?? What the hell!

I have a 2002 Z-28 A4 with a 2:73 gear. I have 101,000 miles on it!! I have put an SLP lid on it so far. I have gotten a best of 30 MPG on the highway.I usually get 27-28 MPG on the highway.I consistantly get 23-25 around town. I drove it to an NMCA race 6.5 hours away and got 28MPG getting there. Drag raced all weekend and still got 20 MPG drag racing and driving back and forth to the hotel and knocked down 13.5 in the 1/4 mile @104 MPH. These cars are truly awesome!!

I just did a pretty long road trip, so I got to check the highway fuel mileage for the first time. I got 23 mpg on the trip there (~70 mph, no cruise control, driving very easy) and 22 mpg on the return trip (~75 mph, cruise control most of the way). This is with bolt-ons, a 224/230 cam, 4.10 gears, and a stock torque converter. I normally get 14-17 mpg in the city.

i will say this. if you got a ls1. then did airintake, exhaust, headers. no cats. you gain a good bit of mpg.
alot of us in the 22-23mpg city and 28-30 mpg highway group are us who have a free moving exhaust. which ofcourse if you have a heavy foot will increase gas usage. but if i had to guess i gained probly 2-3 mpg after my mods.

A4, 3.23's, see sig for mods
50/50 city and highway
19-20mpg with aggressive driving, i cant keep my foot out of it long enough to see how it does, but ill be driving from indiana to myrtle beach next week so i will see how good it gets and give you all an update!
do you thing the bigger 17's and the rears being 315's hurts my gas mileage? im assuming it does...

3.73s
Vig3600
231/237 cam
TEA 5.3 heads
Driving with the air on, in town & not getting on it= 12mpg.
I still see around 22mpg on highway trips. I didn't buy an econo box & I enjoy having over 400 rwhp & running 11.3s at the track, so I don't complain too much.

So, pretty much I was meaning to do this test and finally got around to it.
2.73's / A4 - Traveling mostly all highway @ 65-67mph, (maybe <20% city) getting on it sparingly.
325miles / 13.66gallons = 23.7mpg
