I have 2. I bought the Formula while the SS was under the knife. And since my work is only 3 miles away, I look forward to going somewhere where I can open it up and go thru the gears.
Sadly the day is coming to sell the SS because the girlfriend wants a Wrangler.

My wife has a Trans Am, I have a Z28, and then together we have the Silverado. We love it. It says a lot when you see a driveway with more than (1) F-body in the driveway. Shows that person knows what they have and didn't just buy the car to buy the car not knowing what it is I guess.
Don't go out of your means though, if you can't afford it...don't try to. I am thinking about selling my Camaro for a Vette but am going to save up a little more money first. You wont regret having 2 f-bodies, plus you can use the parts from each other to diagnose what's wrong and what's not wrong with one of them when it's broken down.

Only one F-body for me....the SS is a toy as is my C4 Corvette. I have a Grand Am GT1 as my daily driver....the gas mileage is great, it rocks in the rain (as well as the snow; however that's pretty rare in GA).
I agree with the others, by driving the Grand Am around town for most of the week, it's a blast to hop in the SS or the Vette and go for a spin!

My TA is my DD, but will pick up a c6 z06 when i get out of law school in 10 months or so. Why own two f-bodies, when you can own both an f-body and a vette? Unless of course you can own all three.

I agree with madmanmike 110%. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I have the best of both worlds. I can haul/tow stuff with the Jeep, plus it's a V8 Limited, so it has all the luxury options and power of a V8 awd. Plus, it's great in the snow and I'm not afraid to take it offroad a little bit. The gas mileage is pretty bad, but I don't have much of a commute so I deal with it. Hopping in my Camaro on the weekends is like a huge treat for me because it's a 180 from driving an SUV all week.

I've had my 87 IROC since 16, runs most of the time (its been down for about 6 months now due to engine issues). My daily is a 98 TA A4 with just gears and a lid. Drive it a lot, its been a great car for the past 8 months. Always had the IROC, and a daily driver in the past. (truck, small car, 4 door car) No bragging can be said, all my stuff has been used with ok miles

Relax guys . . . I didn't sell it yet. My girl can rip thru the gears just as well as any guy can. I just have a HUGH problem allowing a 50lb long haired dog in the SS. Naturally she feels the dog should go where ever. I told her I agree, buy the SS off me and the dog can trash the interior just like it's doing to your new SUV. Am I wrong? Am I still revolked?

Between me, my brother and my step dad, we have 4. 35th and 30th Ann. Edition SS's that aren't daily drivers and then my Z and my bro's 91 Z that are DD's. But its not really like your situation. Personally I think I would rather have a SUV or Truck for DD and then a really nice SS for a weekend car.
