Are they trying to pass this off as a CETA, it seems to be missing ALOT. I see no badge on the dash giving a number.

 

They probably don't know. From a devil's advocate standpoint, at least this looks like it is really a car for sale! Too many ebay adds are nothing but a scam these days......

 

Could be real. Can the VIN ID this car as a real CETA?

 

It's about as much of a fake as one could be. The worst part is they didn't even try to make it look exactly like a CETA. Stock Trans Am non WS6 tips, missing one of it's side graphics on the quarter panel, and then the wheels. It appears the Radio Bezel and console lid are from a 98 or 99 and not a 00-02. 00-02 were ebony not gray. Which why the heck would those have been replaced? Those pieces don't exactly break easily.

 

They don't come with badges on the dash...

 

We bought the wifes WS6 from those people. We are very happy with what we got

 

Is the build code for a CETA Z15? If so I just did a VIS on the car and it has it.

Why doesn't it have the CETA bumper?

 

The odds are the car had some mods....and maybe some damage.

Tips don't match because of upgraded tips or cat-back.

The sticker on the lid doesn't say " Ram Air " it's just the normal lid sticker....car probably had aftermarket lid.

Graphics missing could mean body repair....and could explain the wrong tips and no black painted lower bumper.

It does have the correct " collectors edition " filler on the rear between the lights.

Looks like the lower bumper right above the passenger exhaust tip has some damage and the carpet has water stains in the back seat and behind the back seat. With the low mileage, it was probably wrecked and sat for a long time, while someone pieced it back together.

O yeah, rebuilt for sure. Look at the vehicle history report since they provide it to you. Even though it's got a "clean" title, it's been through 3 auctions in it's lifetime already...Some idiot probably just bought the car and didn't know how to harness the power and wrecked the **** out of it!

 

Notice they conveniently don't show the RPO decal on the door. The rear bumper cover is messed up really bad (look how wavy it is around the exhaust tips). The driver's-side front seatbelt latch cover is all mangled too. The funniest thing is the missing CETA paint on the rear bumper cover.
