ebay time
Sounds like an ebay sale is forthcoming for you. Start your auction at the lowest possible price you would take and then see what happens. Just accurately describe the condition (curb rash, nicks, etc..) and you should have a successful auction. Allow at least $100 for UPS shipping (it might even be higher). I just sold a set of Mercedes rims for a neighbor and the shipping was $101 for the 4 of them. Good luck if you go that route!

Which wheels are you talking about when you say "stock 16s"? Firebird or Camaro? If Camaro, which year?
I'm in nearly the same situation. I have a set of '97-'99 stock chrome 16" Camaro wheels in *perfect* condition (seriously perfect, no rash, not a nick, scratch, or blemish anywhere + perfect condition caps). The wheels only saw 11,000 miles of perfect weather use (no snow/salt/rain ever). They have 245/50/16 Eagle GS-C tires mounted with about 800 miles on them. I've never bothered to sell them though, since I'd never get any kind of money out of the set. The tires cost me about $750 alone. I would need to get at least $6-700 out of the set, but I doubt anyone will pay that for 16s, otherwise I'd rather just keep them as extra wheels.
