invest it!

Haha not really, I am getting about the same return. My thoughts are $600 or so for wheels and the rest for LT's and Y pipe!

224/228 ish cam with supporting hardware, labor, and tune would run right about that. Best bang for the buck for that money. Next would be gears, or you could do it in the reverse. Cammed 6 speeds pretty much suck on 3.42's. You could go gears and hotcam kit to have the most fun for the least cash.

x2 on paying off the loan, then start modding it. If its paid off cam and the normal bolt ons would be the best way

hmm if you can do the work yourself id definately say a good cam / stall package if its an auto, and you can never go wrong with suspension work so you got a few directions to go

Thats just what I was thinking.

I too want some konis but wouldnt make a huge difference on the track. Just depends on what you re leaning towords...speed wise this is your best bet IMO.

Save it! Then add to it as you can. Once that number doubles you can get what you really need. A 12 bolt rearend with 4.10 gears

Buy Dave 96TA a Textralia clutch and some LCAs. That's what I would do.

I'd try and buy a set of heads for it, then go cam later, might try to find a nice set of used heads and cam for that, can you do your own labor?
