HAHA.....Chromeplated does have a point. I ordered one of the build high performance ls1 ls6 etc books and it's pretty detailed on everything plus it has dyno's with different setups in the back. Overall a pretty good book.

Chiltons
Haynes
GM Service Manuals

The first two can be found at almost any auto parts chain. The last can be found on ebay.

Haynes bought out Chiltons from my info. I like Chilton but both of those I can't find anywhere, even online. I called the local Chevy Dealer and they said they had nothing. Referred me to a $800 full service catalog.

I really didn't think it would be this difficult.

You have an AutoZone or Advance Auto nearby? Both stores sell them.

I saw that Haynes bought out Chilton, but the Chilton still appears to be nicer from what I've seen.

Helms Inc maybe? It has engine and transmission though. Don't think you can buy one of the three set volume.

i'm still looking, I like Chilton but agree the haynes looked cheaper. But now I'd take anything. No AutoZone or Advance Auto, Napa, Shucks, and a B&B. None sell anything. I'll check out barns. Thanks for the info and if anything is found PLEASE let me know.
