I like the car, and don't mind the rims. But you will have a hard time getting any sort of traction with them. Use them for show & shine, but might want to look towards 17s if you start modifying it. Glad you chose an LS1 though!

I like the look of the rims, but I think they come in a smaller size. As others said, ride and traction will suffer from 19's, plus the tire cost is going to be outrageous, but it's your car. Overall, I think it's a sweet looking ride.

Thanks for the input! The rims are 8.5" wide. I know a couple people that are selling some chrome ZR1's that I am gonna get, and I was also looking for some wider tires..sigh...yes they are 235's. The guy got them in a package deal with the rims and I really want wider tires. The rims make them look wider than they are. For you guys saying to lower the car? How much more do you want me to lower it? When I put the TD's and LT's on it the thing is gonna scrape on everything?!

You are exactly right. I know they may be too big but if you think about it, they are only 1" bigger than 18's. I know alot of you probably just read that and said no ****...lol but yeah everyone has the Z06/C6/C5/ZR1's

drop it an inch or 1.5 and trust me...you will be very pleased with how much better it looks. If your worried about the LTs and TDs go with an inch. You'll be glad you did.

all Im trying to get at is what is the point of putting some big *** 19'' wheels that have skinny *** tires that will not even be able to handle the power of the Ls1. If he had a sixer, then okay. But that is just a waste of power if you ask me. These cars are not meant for that size of wheel and that is why you dont see it on these cars all the time. Its not original, its just a bad idea...

The people who are saying that you shouldn't get rims like ZR1's because you'll just be a clone are the type of people who put body kits and ricer tail lights on their cars. Look through the cheezy F-Body thread in the appearance forum. Hey, those crs are "differnt" and not "boring." They also look like homomobiles.

Your car can be different without having retarded rims that make the car ride for **** and make it impossible to get traction. This is an LS1 Camaro. Not some 200 rwhp ghetto ride. I mean, you already have a black stinger stripe, black corners, black grille, and black headlights so it's already different. Put some black 17" rims on there and have one sweet ride that handles better, rides better, and catches traction better. You sound like you're not too hapy with the rims. Sell the *************.

Whatever you do, don't waste money on performance. You've done killed that ****. Why even have an LS1?
