good lookin car. Sell those wheels and tires and get something else. Get some drag radials though. Street tires are pointless if your going to mod it more.

All of you saying ditch the rims, give him ideas then if you don't like his current choice. I don't think they look bad, I would say they don't really flow with the car but I think it's better than going with the same wheels everyone else does.
Also, people that are calling them ghetto or G rims, etc...seriously is there a need for that. A lot of people customize their cars to their way of life and culture. That's what I love about this hobby. There's some people on here that roll around on the street with a drag wheel setup that I'm not super fond of on these cars and I don't sit here and bash them for it.
I don't understand why people always have to knock people on their tastes...just say nice car and be done with it, because when it really comes down to it, I don't think the O.P. cares about what you like unless you are going to pay for it. I know I wouldn't
BTW nice car man looks good, and you got a good deal as well. I will say lower it and it'll really set it off!

WAY sexy car , but, .... yep,.. the rims, its not that they look "bad", tho not my style, its just the power you're losing with them, its just sad to have a motor such as the LS1 and lose the power b/c of the wheels, maybe get some 17" wheels, i like the ZR1's, especially gun metal gray with the red car, SIZZLIN! lol looks very good tho.

Yeah, I am not sure how the rims are "ghetto", "rice", "hood". I appreciate everyones advise, but I have never heard of some chrome 5 spoke rims be "ghetto" as you say. Just because they are 1" bigger than alot of rims people get?! How about the Vette rims? They are 19's in the back? This just has more of an attention grabber.
And for the guys and girls telling me to lower it...It has Eibach lowering springs do you suggest I lower it more? I will be scraping like crazy on everything, after I get longtubes.
The plus thing about having no traction is I dont have to worry as much about my 10 bolt breaking. I dont plan on going to the track until I get a 9" anyways...
The fender is a little off. The guy tried to fit the hood and bumper as best as possible and it needs to be realigned, I am gonna take it to a body guy I know, shouldn't be a problem.

Saw this over on another site too....am i the only one who thinks the wheels can look good? Theyre obviously not my first choice but they came with my car and i have no intention of really changing them.

Not a big fan of the wheels. They look like they belong on a 1/2 ton pickup. They are just a little too big and not in keeping with the styling of the car. I really don't care for Chip Foose's wheel designs though. The rest of the car looks sweet. I like the front end treatment, looks awesome. All in all, a great looking low mile Z. I would sell those Foose wheels and get some 18" Z06's and then do some mods.
