All up to the driver. Both are great cars derived from the same platform. But the main point is they both have CHEVROLET SMALL BLOCKS. Without CHEVROLET the TRANS-AM would be a rolling chassis.

i was torn between the two for a long time! for some reason though the camaros just look meaner to me, since performance wise they are the identical same! camaro interior is setup a wee bit better imo....just my .02

flip a coin!

ws6>ss>t/a>z28

i was in your position half a year ago. i bought a trans am and never looked back.

t/a pros: more comfortable, more aggressive looking
camaro pros: dont have to shell out $$$ when your headlamp motor breaks (knock on wood)

Well....

....Which do you think looks cooler?

Personally, I wanted a Pontiac, but found a killer deal on my Camaro. Stock for stock, I think the Trans Am looks better, but that'll change once I get a little bling and a 3" SS infront of the cowl.

Get the one you like most. Try to sit in and drive both before you choose. For me, the camaro has always been a household name when i was growing up, and the t/a and firebird were kind of like knock offs of the camaro. Where as the camaro was the real deal. Just like when people are talking about the pony-car war, most of the time they mean the mustang vs camaro.

WS6 dumdumdum! Of course that's just my opinion. The only opinion that really matters is yours. Personally I loved everything about the Formula/TA. I liked the outside better, I liked the seats better and I absolutely loved the red dash lights when driving at night. It makes me feel "evil"

Like everyone else says, it's all up to personal preference. T/A's definitely look more aggressive but I like the look of the Camaros more. I like a car that doesn't really scream how fast it is. I like the sleepers.

Always did kind of wonder why tho the Camaro RS was an appearance package on the base Camaro and not the Z28 like the Trans Am is on the Formula. Always seemed kinda unfair lol.

The RS body kits were available on the z28s. Ofcourse the car came with z28 badges but the body kit was available from the factory.

if u want a car with a mean stance, and looks mean coming up the road then go with the WS6. i just didnt like the flip up headlights. but if u want a nice clean sleek looking car then go with the SS.

all that matters is the LS1 under the hood...

Buy what you like. There is no difference between the cars other than cosmetics.
