trans am or camaro
well, I just sold my 91 firebird and I am looking to get a newer ls1 car. I am really torn between a trans am ws6 and a camaro ss. They are pretty much the same car I know. any pros or cons between the two ? Do they both have the same quarter mile times ? ( id imagine ). 6 speed with t-tops is a must. preferably black or white in color. what should I get ?

I'll throw 2 more cents into this also
If I had to get a 93-97 F-Body I would get a Camaro
If I had to get a 98-02 F-Body I would get a Firebird
98-02 Camaro front end is hideous IMHO and I have owned a 99 Z28,99 B4C,01 SS. I also think the Firebird/Trans Am rear view is nowhere as good as a Camaro SS. Again either way a LS1 F-Body is a win win situation.

See my sig. I've had a couple of quick Camaro's lol. That being said if I buy another LS1 ever again it will be a WS6. Always have liked them more, just got a better deal on the Camaro's at the time.
Both interiors are junk IMO, but the WS6 is BY FAR the lesser of the two evils.

you should be different, have half the body be a ta and the other half a camaro. I heard TA's are faster so which ever side of the car the ta is you might need to make sure its tightened down.

If you want to be able to modify the exterior go with the camaro, more choices. If you're going to keep the exterior mostly stock go for the T/A. T/As usually cost a little more, atleast in my experience when looking. I only like a couple colors on the T/As but I like all of the colors on the Camaros. When it comes down to it, What Do You Like?
