i couldnt fathom leaving her in the garage for months.
Unfortunately living where we have snow on the ground for 5 months straight leaving her in the garage is the only smart thing to do. I am looking forward to getting her out soon. Hopefully the snow we are suppose to get tonight will be the last for this year.

My '98 hasn't seen the street since the end of October, 2007. I plan to get it out in the next couple weeks.

Isn't it bad for the car to be sitting a few months at a time? Unless you drain the fluids and leave it on jackstands.

My theory is any LS1 with under 70k miles is not a happy LS1 they love to be driven mine tells me all the time . Although I must say it would be the **** to have an ls1 with 10k or under **** under 100k would be nice for me lol

No, not at all. Mine has been through this every winter for the last 10 years, and the car runs/drives perfect. Doesn't leak/burn anything either.

NEVER leave a car on jackstands over the winter. That's an easy way to damage the suspension (letting it hang). Suspension should be kepted loaded, not hanging. So long as the tires are regular Z-rated street tires, inflate them to max psi for storage and you'll have no flat spotting. If the car sits on super soft racing tires, just get some junk wheels/tires to sit it on for the winter.

The only good thing about this is it cuts the insurance cost down.

I've got 123k or so, and I have avid low mileage LS1 guys tell me they're envious of me all the time. All they do is worry about their cars. I go out and beat on mine occasionaly, daily drive it, etc. It's also a lot 'tighter' car than many with half, quarter, and even cars with a sixteenth the mileage as mine. It's not half as pretty, but I could care less.

If someone gave me the same version of my car, but with 2300 miles, I'd drive it the same
