Well im right at about 10 grand. All the parts are in sig, but thats not including the new leather interior, ttop conversion parts, SS hood and spoiler...and thinking of new high flow catted y pipe and new catback. Ihavent even got to see all these parts yet either, thats what really pisses me off!
Dont even want to know what install+tune will add up to. Wife thinks I havent grown up yet.

I'm a little late to this one...but since I just got my car in November and I'm a full-time college student the first option is about the only option right now. For the people that voted 12,000+ are you including the car itself cuz DAMN thats alot.

Sig worthy. I hate it when you ask someone how much they spent on something and they won't tell you. Especially on race oriented vehicles.

Negative. I'm going to college full time too. It's all about budgeting and not wasting money on stupid things. I work my *** off all the time and save pretty much every bit of money I can to put towards getting my cars operative and the way I want them. Just for reference I've bought all my cars in cash too.

Formula = $7865.58
95 Camaro = $1500
93 Camaro = $400 cash, LS1 shortblock I bought for $200, and some diamond pistons I bought for $300.

If you shop around and are willing to drive long distances you can find amazing deals on this site that will help you save a ton of money. That along with being able to do your own work is huge!

Default the money dump.

I got a hell of a deal on the car but it did need a lot of little normal things when i got it. It was always owned by a woman ( no offense to the ones that take care of their cars). I have basicly changed every bushing on the car. I spent about a week cleaning it. After installing the forged 347 and other things listed in my signature I will have put about $2000 in parts and countless hours of work. I voted $1-$3000 because I wasn't sure if this was including the cost of the car. After every thing is installed in the car I will still have arround $6000 in car and mods. If you include the labor I have put in this car it is priceless
Now my Nova is a different story. I have almost half as much in just the heads that are on the motor in my Nova as I have in this whole car. This definetly isn't a poor mans game but if you can do most of the work yourself you will be ahead of the curve.

Ive spent over $2100 on different exhaust setups.. $1800 for first tranny rebuild then $2300 for the second and anywhere from $600-$1000 for the next probably 4-5 times than my current one about $2000 plus 500 for re-tune. plus all my bolt on's; U/D pulley $220, S3 TB $130, push rods $100, 918's $200, gears $275 installed. cams; first cam was $200 plus 200 for install than 300 for tune, second cam $40 plus $150 for install than $100 for tune, current cam $150 plus 300 for install plus 300 for re-tune. oh and maintenance $100 for oil pump, $100 for new water pump, $100 for new alternator..
Interior; $300 for racing seats and RCI 5 point harnesses, $460 for 4-pt roll bar.

thats over $15,000 put into it.. not including the car. probably more spent but thats just a rough estemate and i don't want to know anyway. thats almost double what the car is worth..

8,700 for the ride and 2,500 for a supercharger set up. I would like to have spent about 10k on modding however.
