Default help me spend $2k

I have about 2000 dollars ready to go into the car but ive been going nuts tryin to decide what to buy next. my current mods are in my sig... i dont know if i wanna go with more power, wheels, suspension, built tranny or rear end! when i spend this much money i wanna be curtain thats what i want, like many of you im not rich, mommy and daddy do not buy my things, i work night shift 12 hours a night usually 6 days a week so my money is hard earned...so i need help from some of my ls1 brothers to set me in the right direction. Im leaning towards an FLT transmission and when income tax gets here a 9" rear-end..but a set of wheels or H/C combo is sounding nice as well

Its tough to give you advice, in your post you want to know what we think, but also want to spend on something YOU know is the right thing. Do lots of research, do what looks like the best thing and see if you like it. i personally would want to go faster, but if you want wheels, get some nice wheels. You really can't go wrong when spending money on your f-body. Find out whats possible with 2k, but together some combinations of stuff, then make an educated decision based on what you want from your car.

being an automatic you really don't need the 9". The 12 bolt will hold up fine and it weighs less...

I don't see it in your current list of mods so I would get a stall converter for sure. I'm partial to the Yank SS4000. With that alone and some good tires you should drop a good half second or more off your current times.

I have a bridge I'll sell you that just happens to be $2k. Just kidding. Personally, my choice would be more power. But then if you have more power you'll want a built rear end or tranny. Choices, choices.

have you considered a nitrous system? Just a thought. could get stall, nitrous, and rear w/ tax return. That would be a nice setup.

def go rear end first....you will be thankfull that you did..even if you are an auto...beleive me..a slipping tranny can get you to the shop..a busted rear leaves you on the side of the road...

Build the tranny and put in an SS4000. Then you could always throw a 100 shot on. I guess a4's are a bit easier on the rear end thats why i'm tellin u this

i would go with the power and worry about the tranny if and when it goes.
H/C is always nice and just stay away from the digs til you get a rear.
