...**** me off. Ok, so off ebay i bought two key fobs for my FB since it didn't come with any. Using this article: http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm
I tried to install.

Now, on the step where you turn the key to on 3 times the doors are supposed to unlock and lock... guess what they don't.

So what do I gotta do to get my piece of **** to let me program these remotes?

(ive been fighting the car all night with all kinds of stuff...so its not exactly on my good side right now...)

did you pull the radio fuse? and are you sure the code o nthe back of the remote is perfectly matched to your old one?

I didn't have an old remote. I just went off the guide on ebay that said what matched what. These came from a 2000 camaro...
And i did pull the radio fuse..

I have no idea what thats all about, but it is wrong. And that link is bad.

Here is how you do it:

Pull the Radio fuse

Turn key to ON position

Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the key fob for about 20sec until you hear all the locks cycle through. Once it does, your set. Now repeat for next fob.

If this does not work on your key fob either the battery is dead or it's the wrong key fob.

Did your car orginally come with keyless entry?? If it didn't, then its a somewhat invovled install(if you can do a radio head unit, you can do this) and more parts to buy.

This method did not work for me, I had to cycle the key like the link says. Are you sure you are turning the key to the ON (When the dash lights come on) position three times in less than 5 seconds?

Well, after all fo the work, it turns out my car did not come with Keyless entry...
