What should a guy expect to pay for a set of cats off a 2002 Z-28 with less than 3,000 miles on them???

Do you want Hi-Flow cats??? I was charged $240 for some Hi-Flow's, from a local performance shop. However, i got a set of Magnaflow Spun Hi Flow Cats from Jegs.com for $206.

It also depends on the brand name your going after, some cost more then the other.

what I am trying to do is gauge interest in the cats off of my camaro. They are factory GM with less than 3,000 miles on them. I just want to set a fair price for them.

when people buy cats they usually dont care about the mileage they usually just put them on here to pass smog then take them right off

i was quoted by a couple people in the business between $115-$150 a piece for salvage value, so ya that seems like a fair price

Why so you can turn around and sell them to the guy that gives 145 for a pair? Not to sound like a dick but alot of people put cats for sale and noone is a good eough person to tell them they are worth more then the asking price

To the OP there is a guy on here that will buy them for 140 and you ship them I think it cost me 10bucks to ship them. Also I would see if anyone wants them first before giving away a basicly brand new set of cats

Damn right, all you have to do is search catalytic converter in the parts wanted section and you'll see the guys in post 7 and 11.
If I was trying to sell something I'd see what they're going for in the sale section, then check the wanted section.

Not to mention my cats are still under factory warranty for 35,500 more miles and 28 more months. Standard factory warranty.
No one selling cats is a decent enough person to tell people that, now what!

No gutted or internally broken cats. Broken studs, bad flanges a-ok.
You can cut them out of the piping if you want.
The more you cut, the cheaper it is to ship. I just need the cats.
Fedx ground is cheapest.

Or , if you cut away all the piping , they will fit into a USPS ‘flat-rate” box &
Cost you only $8.95 from anywhere to me. Free “flat-rate” boxes at your post-office.
