On Syn. I go 3000 miles. I use Mobil 1 in my truck and love it. My buddy uses Royal purple and lives by it. I am going to run royal purple in my 98'Z28. Mobil 1 filters are top of the line and are pretty resonabley priced

The slightly longer/taller Mobil 1 oil filter and 5.5 qts. of Castrol 0-30W German synthetic, proven via this website to be the absolute best choice for the LS1.

Nuff said. Good luck.

My motor only has 45 on it, so I don't need high mileage.

I do the same thing. But that still only amouts to two oil changes a year

I do one when I get my car out of storage in march or april, then again 6 months later right before it goes back into storage. That tells you how much my car gets driven >3k a year

Actually a filter is a filter and a filter is a filter... Have you ever cut every filter open? They are almost all the same thing. Your buying the looks and the name brand. I personally use Fram on account of the rubber on the outside its much easier to get off.

K&N Air Filter, K&N Oil Filter, Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5W-30. Going to switch to GC 0W-30 or Royal Purple 5W-30. No reason, just heard better things.
