lol bit overkill isnt it? unless its a drag car I'd still go till 3000. I change out the oil in my 406 every 50-100 miles or so, but thats because the car usually only goes 1/8 mile or so at a time

Of coarse there is different manufactures. And the bypass valves are almost exactly the same. They may be different shaped and sizes but everything filters and flows the same.
