so the C6 ZO6 is an all around better car than a trans am? no ****. even 450 rwhp in the TA i don't think its ready to take on a Z06 without weight reduction. if i'm not mistaken 450 rwhp is what a stock Z06 will dyno and its much lighter. but seriously if you're willing to drop that kind of money on a Z06 you could make your TA stupid fast with much much more than 450 rwhp. but if you want the Z06 that bad its completely understandable.

Property > cars. Get a house, then worry about getting a better car. Property is a WAY better investment.

If you can afford the Z06 than get it. Its a better car. You could make the T/A keep up with it on a drag strip for alot less maney but it wouldnt be anything like a Z06 handles.

If you have no problem affording it then Z06 is the way to go.

I think a lot of people are only saying to keep the TA because the guy doesn't seem to have his priorities straight, since he is thinking of spending $75k on a car and lives in an apartment. Obviously the Z06 is a better choice for some if money were no object.

I say keep the T/A and get a new Z06. Or if you can't keep the T/A I would definately get the Z06. A C6 Z06 is like crack, try it once and you will be hooked.

You could put a nice down payment on a house for the price of a new Z. Maybe you can compromise and get a house and a C5Z. Then when it becomes financially smart drop 75k on a new car.

If your T/A is your daily driver I would keep the T/A. If its a weekend only car then I would buy the new z06 if you can afford it.

You're not going to get any money for the TA. So if you cant afford to keep it and have them both, you probably can't realistically afford the 75k on the Z06.

Just better off buying property now while the housing market is garbage, and keeping the TA.

Down the road you may even be able to make money on the house depending upon how bad your area is.

Just about every other house on my street is for sale LOL. If I had extra dough I would be buying property within the next year.

sorry, but someone who has a c6 z06, but no garage to park it in probably needs to re-acess his priorities.
