Just ordered a QTP cutout for my stock 02 ws6....cross your fingers for me

Its gonna be fine! All it will do is feed yoru addiction that your about to get... Once you do the cutout, youll be ok for a week or so, then youll want long tubes, and so on and so on! Welcome to LS1 ADDICTS

you have to put long tubes on with your cutout to get a really good sound! oh well that can be next! welcome to the addiction

Ive always wanted to ask this: Do i need to buy LT's, y, AND a cat.back all at the same time or can i just buy LT's and throw em on?

you'll need to buy a y pipe as well. stock y pipes suck, and you'd have to fab them to make them fit

Electric cutouts are awesome! You can go from business to party at the flip of a switch.

just becareful, they are real touchy when your holding on to the open/close switch more than it's needed sometimes the motor strips the teeth out and just spins not opening or closing it...

Most of the newer ones have circuits built into them that will cut power to the motor once a certain amount of resistance it seen at the motor. Should be fine.

You should get longtubes and o/r y pipe and keep the stock catback..Thats what i did and it still sound aggressive even when its closed..Then open it up and wake up the neighbors. Sounds real mean with it open

Thats definitely going to be next mod. Originally i was thinking about just getting a manual flowtech and just leaving it open....but i might get bored in the car and need something to do so i guess ill play with the switch at a light and watch people say...hahah
