Default LS6 biiiiiiiiig HORSEPOWER

what would it take to get an LS6 to make 800-850hp n/a ? (if possible)
anythings game here, bigger than stock cubes, etc...

also, possible using a MS4?

EDIT: not my build, wondering if a friend of mine is lying about the car hes got.

um.......about $25K to start with...if it's even doable...custom sleeved block, solid roller valvetrain, custom heads, sheetmetall/ITB intake, super high compression, alluminum and titanium everything....

good luck...

Yea, he's lying. I'm thinking the most you'll see out of an LS6 is 600HP at the flywheel since it is pretty much the same as an LS1 and the most power with a cam and heads is roughly in the low 500RWHP range on the LS1.

It takes a whole lot but is possible I geuss w/ a resleeved big cube block. The sixspeedsinc car makes something like 900 at the flywheel w/ a 402 I believe. Even though it might be possible, your friend is a liar.

It would need to have monster cubes. We are talking 427 or 454. I don't think you can hone an Ls6 to 454 though. Probably solid roller cam, high compression heads, and race gas. If he says its on pump gas then its total bull ****.

Stock cubes you're talking?

It will need bigger cubes, good heads/cam/intake setup. Probably solid roller. You’re talking about around 700RWHP NA. That's got to be tough to get.
