id have to say the lt1 does sound so sexy but ive never heard one with pipes so for now unfortunately i would agree the stang does sound better.

Cams don't gain near as much with an OHC motor VS a OHV.
But a cammed 2v 3v or 4v =

I have an LS1 but i drove two 2001+ mustangs and almost bought them, and they sounded way better stock than my catbacked camaro. I dont get it.

Wait till I get my video up...I do think mustangs sound better than 99% of ls1's i've heard but even with a stock cam I'll take my exhaust over any mustangs anyday...prob helps that im longtubes, 3" duals, x pipe, and chambered mufflers and over the axle...its so deep and so loud.

But as far as the poll goes I'll have to vote stang

I've heard Cammed 2vs and 4vs and neither sounded as good as a cammed LS car

I voted for the Mustang. But I think a cammed, open cutout LS motor kills the Mustang as far as sound. Both are very different.

yeah, i dont think camming those motors make the power increase like LS1s do.. correct me if im wrong (i dont think i am??)

I had a 88 Chevy Scottsdale 5 speed with 305 5.0L and i put true dual flowmasters and it sounded like mustang I sold it for the formula.

Go to www.billyboat.com and listen to the clip..The bullet is just too annoying..We aren't 22 yr olds,closer to 40 so we like the classier sound..

The reason most DOHC 4.6's arn't cammed is because of the large amount of work to install and beceause it is very expensive for the cams.

yeah they have (CAMS) and we have (cam) so a lot of those guys dont mess with it,but no matter what mustangs are slow,and the only thing that really matters is the track times,and street wins....i did agree mustangs sounded better,but i also agree a ls1 with cam and open exhaust sounds freakin amazing..
