get some sticky tires, and dump her at 5k, then fix the clutch and the rear end and you will be on your way.

What tires are you running? With a 2.0 and some cool fall weather a 12.9 may be in reach.

it all depends on how the track prep is and the weather as well. for example, i went out a few months ago, it was about 70* outside, and the track prep was excellent, and was able to cut 1.9x 60 fts on 275-45-17 kumho's, leading to a 12.8 @ 108 with jsut a lid and open y-pipe (stock manifolds and y) slipping the clutch at about 3000-3500. but then i went out a couple weeks ago, after adding LT's and TD's, and it was about 80-85*, a lot more humid, and track prep wasn't up to par either, and the best 60 i could manage on the same tires was a 2.2x, leading to a 13.5 @ only 105 mph. it was a terrible night for street tire cars though, that pass i did beat a 01 zo6 (stock) and an earlier pass i raced a sbc s-10, and pulled on him, the driver said in better conditions it normally runs upper mid 12's as well

are you doing a burnout? I know EVERYONE says not to do a burnout on street tires, yeah will i followed that advice and got very similar times that you got. So the next time i went to the track i did a good burnout and got my best 60' of a 1.9. Im a six speed as well.

well i do a burnout because at the track i go to (atco raceway), they make you go through the water box, theres no option not to. so unless you want wet tires, you gotta burnout.

How long are you roasting the tires? First you should be able to drive around the water box and back up into it a little bit. For just street tires you just need to spin them for a few seconds to clean them off. If you do a smoke show all you do is make them slippery.

im telling you, you cant drive around it. i would if i could, im not stupid. and as for the burnout, not long at all, enough to get the water off of it.

I say your 60ft times are average.. most stock 6speed cars wont run 1.9's or even 2.0's with a good driver.. your 60ft and trap is good enough to run you a 13.2 or lower.. i think your probably running the car to its potential, may try not running it as high into the rpms that usually helps me out a bit.. good luck man, better times will come with practice but i think your 60's are fine
