Default Walmart oil has proven itself to me...im sold now.

Changed the oil today, with the supertech synthetic and now i hear NO engine ticking. Hate to say it but looks like ill be switching from Mobil1 to this stuff. Ive used mobil1 in all my vehicles (except the GMC haha) hard to admit it but oh well.

I would, driving normal i knew something was different about my engine and the noise. I could hear my exhaust 100% and no light ticking from inside the car. I can even hear my intake which i could never before.

walmart oil + ebay headers = cheap speed haha.

So far, its holding great pressure under WOT in 95 degree heat. Stop and go traffic the low pressure is the same as a 5 min warm-up from cold start. Yes the syntech is synthetic oil (silver bottles with NEWER CAR formula on it, not high milage car) i noticed. Nothing wrong with ebay headers haha i love mine to death.

At half the price of Royal Purple, I think it might be worth it to my wallet to try it out next time.

next time you change your oil, catch some of it and send it to blackstone labs to have it analyzed, they will tell you if its doing its job.

i used synthetic before in my car and it made my valves tap real loud... I then switched from that to regular pennzoil and my valves got real quiet! my verdict is that synthetic makes our valves real loud. good find though!!

I used the stuff for quite a while when I had my stock motor. Good friend uses it in his stroker. My bearings looked fine when I pulled the stocker apart. I think its all the same ****.

Interesting, shame their really is not a wal mart within driving range to make it worth it. I might have to pick some up at school and give it a try.

I've got to agree. I've used it for the passed 3 oil changes. But i don't DARE leave it in as long as i did with Mobil 1. I change it every 2.8-3k miles. I'm loving it.

Yeah, the consensus on BITOG is that Super Tech synthetic is a great quality synthetic, but not an extended OCI (oil change interval). So change it like a dino oil.
