not all people on this site are LSX or LTX einsteins only. although the website is geared towards these engines, there are people with general auto knowledge on here as well. i've asked for information about a v6 mustang for my wife, and i got answers.
it would be different if there were more posts about different cars, but there aren't that many compared to the number of LSX posts on here.
people talk on here enough that we trust one another to at least have faith, that someone on here knows about a vtec/ivtec engine, or modular engines.
not to mean disrespect to OP, but we have some very smart people on here.

I can see doing it as long as you have "good" knowledge about cars in general or used to own that make of vehical. I dont post on any Mustang sites but see alot of Camaro guys on it. And vise verse. Sometimes its nice to have a few guys who can clear up some misunderstandings/misconceptions about other cars. IMO...

Sorry guys I was speaking to more of the warstory "fanboys" , and not the technical discussion contributors.
I guess what I should have used to explain it better is who posts ford kills or mustang forums, or hangs around to tell people they are BSing ....etc just wanted to be polite about it.

I was here on tech for a while before I actually picked up an LS1 car, and at the time of joining I had no immediate plans to get one.
Personally I just enjoy learning about a lot of different cars. I'm a member of a lot of different forums and mostly just lurk and read up in the tech sections about them.

I post on other car forums..I've been posting on SVT Performance ever since my younger brother purchased an 04 Cobra..He was new to the game & on his behalf I took it upon myself to do some reserch based on my experience on tech forums for my car..& then I discovered their "Road Side pub" & the "Smack down cafe" & now I have twice the posts on that site as I do here..It's unique collection of folks..Some cool, some complete douchebags..Besides,I'm a car guy first & a Camaro guy second...I like to see how the other half thinks..Surprisingly,they think like we do..Some are brand loyal retards, but that goes both ways..I gave up on brand loyalty along time ago..The only car I'm truly loyal to is mine..

I dont post anything related to my mustang, but I am a ford guy that supports this site and I...... man I am gonna regret saying this "I really like the LSX engines I just don't like the chassis that they come in, if you ask me the best car would be a Fox body mustang w/ an LSX motor in it"
