Default EGR Block Off Plate

I am looking for some block off plates for my Formula WS6 with Flowtech longtubes. I was wondering if these would work or if anyone had any better suggestions.

that link was for the air tube block off which you will need along with an egr block off plate. this will work fine or you could make your own or do what the jackass who owned my car did and just put a huge weld over the hole.

I don't have the luxury of making one, the egr is for the intake right?

There is an EGR port on the front center of the Intake Manifold, and one on the Passenger Side Exhaust Manifold/Header as well.. there is 2 different spots to block off if you have the Emissions Headers. There also is a spot on each Manifold/Header that the AIR hooks up to as well.

you need a freeze plug for the intake manifold unless you have a LS6 intake, you can pick the freeze plug up at napa or autozone ect i dont remember the size off hand it may be 1 3/4? the freeze plug will seal up the EGR provision on the intake, you can buy egr block off plates for the exh. side at speed inc or the site you listed or you could buy off road header that wont have the EGR or AIR provision.

GM also makes a plug for the intake part #12558346. Speed Inc. sells both egr and air plates. Thanks

yeah you will need to buy the EGR and AIR block off plates and you should be able to use the old gaskets from those ports unless they are in bad shape, then you will need the egr block off for the intake (unless you have a LS6 intake) then you should be in good shape other then the check engine light will be on unless you already have those codes tuned out.

you DONT have the emission free headers hence the egr provisions which means you need the plates, kevin99hoss described it very well.I was kind of confused as if you needed just the plate for the intake or for the headers as well, in this case you need it all.

I got my Air Tube Block plates from Speed Inc, in the mean time I made block off plates by using galvanized aluminum I believe from home depot and traced the factory Air tube ends and they worked fine just looked like ****.

You can find EGR block offs from our sponsers, EBAY, or rubber plugs from ACE/Home Depot/Lowes etc
