I agree, you are an idiot.

also note m6 cars can get some pretty insane mileage for the power.

Honestly after I did full exhaust and the SLP CAI the gas mileage was impressing the hell out of me, nothing compared to what I get now with the GP but like I said thats what Ill have the DD for. I prefer an automatic only because of the type of traffic here in town and for track use

exactly, if i wasnt so worried about adding miles/chipping paint etc, i'd love mine as a dd, but the formentioned kinda makes me dislike it. the 6 speed is nice, even in traffic. i have gotten as low as 11.8 mpg, and as high as 31. depending on driving style. lately its been much higher LOL

That is why I spent $1700 on a daily driver. I get so much **** from my friends that say, I'm letting my good car go to waste not driving it but only on the weekends.

i don't DD my car but then again my car has alot of modified **** on it plus i worry about my car getting hit in traffic...traffic sucks especially with an aftermarket clutch, but i really worry about all the *** holes in houston with no insurance (last one that hit my car had no insurance suspended drivers license and he looked at me coming down the road and when i got like 40 yard from him he pulls out in front of me ans stops causing me to t- bone him later to find out he was high on xanax<---not sure if i speled that right, but hepretty much still went to jail lukily i have full coverage so my insurance paid for it but my baby got busted up and if i knew the ***** didn't have any of that stuff we probably would have whooped his *** and told the cop he fell)lolol... always good to carry full coverage

We've all been there, most of us have sold or traded in a car. In the end majority of us regretted it and soon enough we were back in something like said car that was sold/traded in.....

Next time buy a cheaper DD and keep the hot rod

Yup..that sucks too..

Even if it's not a project car, it still sucks when you break your toy and it's going to cost mutiple thousands of dollars to fix.

I've been looking for a little beater honda or something cause of the Gas mileage. My DD is a 99 GMC Seirra EXT cab. I bought that to tow the car to the track and to haul stuff around, it sucks gas.

That and I couldn't sell mine cause to me it's no where near worth the amount of work I put into it. Plus it's beat up a lil bit..needs a paint job..a couple of other things..

I miss my '02 Firehawk all the time. The pictures in my sig is the engine that was in it. I polished the whole thing myself and added an Incon Twin Turbo kit...

I'm really sad, especially when I found out the next owner killed the engine (sent a connecting rod out of the block)

I daily drive a Zo6 now, and honestly I'd hate to let this one go even more than the Firehawk.

Yup..

It's not too bad.. I'll be in Iraq till feb, that's why. That and it's going to take about 3 months for the T56 to get built, so in a way it kinda has to sit..

ive been there, lately its been raining every day here and it honestly kills me to subject the camaro to this weather and the extra miles of not haveing a DD, but im bidding on a pile of **** truck on ebay today so hopefully the camaro can be tucked in the garage all winter

No, it's meant to be driven whenever the owner sees fit. Some of us would rather keep our F-bodies nice and get something more disposable for a DD.

Who cares? Honestly, I'd rather look at an excellent condition 40 year old F-body than any Ferrari. Just because they aren't antiques now doesn't mean they won't be some day.

Your friends are ignorant then. Only taking the car out on nice days isn't wasting anything. Driving it in snow/salt/rain is wasting it; because you're slowly destroying it and you can't even have fun driving it in bad weather (WOT in the snow/rain is stupid). If you avoid bad weather, you can enjoy the car for decades to come.

Anyway, how can a car "go to waste" sitting in a garage? It's not like food, it won't spoil. My '98 car has only 15k miles on it, so it does a lot of sitting. It hasn't spoiled yet.
