Good times for your mods especially it being a 98 car with i'm guessing still the stock ls1 manifold... on a shitty 1.9 sixty foot I went 12.57 @ 110.51 mph. with mods in sig. except the Yank PT3800...

i think his trap was like 109, the car just pulls so hard i cannot keep my foot off the gas, next year i will do a fast 78 with a ported TB, pully, and switch to 410's. i think this should get me to the high 11's or low 12''s.

my old 00 formula a4 went 12.7 at 108 with a lid, random tech cat back, ported tb, HPP and 160 stat & plugwires, some suspension on nittos with a 1.8 60ft. Car was otherwise stock. After that I put in a Vig 3800 but never made it back to the track with it. Sold it for a truck

Yeah those times seem pretty solid i have around the same setup. So what do you guys think are the best shifting points for each gear. My shifting points are also somewhat high like 6400 out of 1st gear.

The stock cam peaks around 5300-5500. Shifting at 6000-6100 is more than enough, shifting at 6300+ (with stock internals) is just prematurely killing your transmission for no gain.

I borrowed my buddies superchips tuner last night, got it down to 6000. That thing is actually pretty decent, i mean its prob not s nice as a true tuning job, but it fixed my problem.

6500 is way too high. 6000 is fine for a stock internal LS1 since the power really drops off after that.

My best pass with that setup was 12.31 @ 109 on a 1.65 60' at NYIRP in western New York.

Those are great times man, especially for what your car has. Don't worry about the 10 bolt, I have had 2 H/C A4 cars before this one, first went 12.0's, second went 11.60 with a 1.60 60' both on the stock 10 bolts. This car went 11.00 on the brakes hard, no idea on the 60 but it leaves HARD and its fine.

And to the original thread poster your car runs good, and i wouldnt be worried about the rearend. my 10sec A4 consistently saw nitrous out of the hole on slicks and never broke anything. A4s are able to make the 10bolt last alot longer then the M6 guys can lol
