Check your spare tire!

You probably COULD, but I've never heard of any NHRA/IHRA sanctioned track letting someone run with spare tires, you'd have to replace the tires with something for a motorcycle.

I've got a little Craftsman one that fits right under the driver's seat. About 6" x 8". Plugs into the cigarette lighter. Has saved me and many others. Don't leave home without it. I don't want to have to put the donut on.

I just checked mine.. checked to make sure it wasn't in the car.
Toss it, I wouldn't drive my car on a donut anyways. If you have a problem, get it towed, or switch to a diff wheel/tire combo.
I have 10 wheels/tires for this car.. so I would take my pickup + floor jack + wheel/tire and be on my way.

Running a diff wheel size can have several effects. It's hard on differentials because the smaller wheel will be spinning higher rpms than than the opposite side. It will have an effect on your ABS brakes as well, since they work off of the wheel speed sensors. The smaller diameter of the spare will show higher speed than the larger diameter of your regular wheel.
If you don't have the right size spare, and it's not properly inflated, it does you no good. I have 17s instead of the factory 16, so the spare will do me no good. Take the weight out, IMO!

People! Rim size does not equal overall tire height(overall tire height * pie = rolling distance) Our 16",17" and 18" rims all have lower aspect ratio tires hung on them to be 25.66 overall tire height.
Spare's are a very good idea for DD.

Smaller wheels will have more sidewall in the tires to keep the overall wheel/tire size to OEM specs. Same with bigger wheels and less sidewall.
I worked on a civic with 20's once. The tires were like rubber bands, lol.
ps - fix a flat doesn't seem to do anything but make me extremely itchy all day and make me take longer on your car because now I have to clean the machine that has jizz all over it. lol
