Uh huh is to so... my super functional ram airz give me like 40 ****** power...

all bs aside there relatively the same damn car and any increase on the dyno would be attributed to the SLP catback that comes on the SS, the WS6 I assume they also get a catback but I dont know for sure.

Well I traded a 94 LT1 for the 98 I have now...and its a SS clone with the SS badges..I am gonna leave it this way but if I were doing it.....and I had a Z...I would just put a cowl hood on it and some really nice wheels and leave it at that...but thats just me...what do I know..I am just a Noob with a SS clone...but it looks good... and when somebody says Damn nice SS....I just say thanks cause I dont want to have to go through the whole story of I traded it....this is the way it was.....I dont know why he did that...yada yada yada...Cause it cost me about 5-10 min. everytime somebody says something...lol

I agree with the previous statements, if you have a Z28 be pround that you have one. A clean Z28 with a nice wheels and a sonoco hood is much better looking than an SS in my opinion. I also think more people notice a custom Z28 more than they do an SS. However, if you do clone either leave the stock badges or remove them and go naked, then people can just wonder what you've got.

I see so many damn V6 Mustangs with Cobra Emblems (I call em Nobras) all around here.. it must be a trend or something.

Some little highschool ******** and his girlfriend rolled up to me at a light onetime in Little Rock and revved at me with one. She must've not known anything about cars cause she looked at me and was like "wanna race.. this is a cobra.."

I fckn laughed my *** off and dragged his *** all over that street, open cut-out too so they could get the sound of a real V8.
Then the loser tried to chase me on the highway.
Ultimate Fail.

If you have a z28 I would go with a sunco hood! Best looking hood for a camaro i think. Also get the SS spoiler. I had a regular TA I would go with a superhawk hood. Also leave the badges off. I like the WS7 & 9 for TAs tho. I have a friend who put a ws6 badge on his car...oh well. Leave your z28 badge on there tho or rip them all off. It would suck trying to buy a car and you find out that the owner just threw SS badges on there.

id throw an SS hood on a z28 or a ws6 hood on a t/a, but i would never throw a SS or WS6 badge on a car that isnt a true SS or WS6

I would def. frown upon badging something different. But if you put the hood and the wing on, and kept the factory Z28 badges (or even some retro badges) it probably wouldn't bring any negativity

As long as you don't badge it as a Z28 or a WS6, then I have no issue with it.

I agree. If you wanted the hood and the spoiler, should've gotten an SS. You bought a Z28, now own it. But in reality, it's your car, do what you want. But do it tastefully in respect to the Camaro name.

I went the Sunoco hood, SS spoiler route. And of course proudly displaying my Z28 badges. (Except for the back since I took it off to do berger panel)

I stopped at a used car dealer last year because I saw what appered to be 35th Annv. LE Vert. Had the SS hood, the stripes, SS badges, the correct rims. Something about the interior didn't look right, but thought whatever. Went around to the rear of the car and saw dual exhaust but a V6/Z28 spoiler instead of an SS spoiler. Salesman comes out and I ask how much. $10,900. I asked if it was a Z cloned to be an SS and it was a V6 someone tired to clone as an 35th LE, they just forgot the SS spoiler and LS1 part. Now that is wrong.

sometimes its harder to find a mint ss than it is to find a mint z28

I'm bringing this back. What about this... I have B4C, neither a Z28 or SS. I do have a SS spoiler and a Sunoco hood. I don't have any emblems, but would like to put some on. Technically I could put either on, because it's a cop car. I wouldn't call it either or, but it obviously has a B4C RPO code. BTW, i just checked the inside of the door and it doesn't say Z28.
