the best way is to use a real machine. but to do it your self, just take the return line and stick it in to a bucket, and turn the wheel lock to lock a few times. i'd do it with the car off but you could start it. do it till its empty. put the return line back on the resivor and fill it with new fluid, run the car and turn it lock to lock and then drail it again. just do that a few times

if you look a the reservoir there is a metal line and a rubber line. the metal is the high pressure line, that goes down to the rack, then the line comes off the rack in to the cooler, out the cooler and back to the reservoir. so ether line off the cooler would be ok
