Default How hard to perform a compression test with motor in car?

I dont have a specific problem but bought a high mileage ls1 and wanted to perform a compression test just to see if there was any compression lost in the cylinders. I searched for a link but really couldnt find a step by step procedure for these cars. anyone know where i can find one. It seems the rear spark plug holes are gonna be a pain in the *** to get too.

Whats the correct way to perform the test on these cars.

1. Warm up engine to operating temp
2. Remove all spark plugs

(This is where i am confused)3. What needs to be disconnected as far as coils or fuel injectors so no fuel or spark happens in the cylinder?

4. Hold throttle open, and crank engine, record readings move on.

Am i missing anything
