Question Windows rattle when 90% up

I'm seeing lots of threads describing burnt-out window motors and such; I'm not all the way there. I'm guessing there's SOMETHING broken in the door or on the window itself, but I'd like to have a clue what to look for before I even consider taking the door apart.

I've seen a couple threads with pictures of the door completely taken apart, but what I haven't found is a good description of what the whole mechanism's supposed to look like / work, nor any sort of step-by-step disassembly guide.

Does that exist somewhere? Have I just missed it?

What holds the window in place when it's mostly-up but not yet supported by the rubber gasket on the T-top panel?

if you take the door panel off on the top of the door there are 3 or 4 guides for the window that you can adjust, if the window rattles when it is not all the way up you probably just need to snug them up

Thanks, guys.
The shop I took it to suggested that my "guide pins" had "worn down", and that fixing the problem would require all sorts of dependent parts to be replaced.

98Boxer also mentions "pins" in his (her?) post.

The window picture at shbox.com shows guides that don't look at all like pins to me... but it's also the previous generation F-body.

Finally, what/where's the "regulator"?

Look in the 'tricks and tips' section of his website on the left, it shows adjusting the window with pics

I wanted to resurrect an old topic....

My windows are beginning to rattle when partially up, however it's not the window stabilizers. I took off the interior panel to see if I could see anything loose, and it appears that the "pins", "bolts", "studs", "bushings", or whatever you call the parts that hold the window to the regulator, and guide it in the tracks on the regulator assembly, have worn and are now "loose".

Does anybody know if these individual parts are available?

Thanks in advance!
