Water pump, hard to do?

Ok I've changed the water pump. But the car is still overheating. I noticed the lower radiator hose is warm and the upper radiator hose is cool. Also, there is no heat when the heater is turned on. Just cold air.
What's the verdict...a crappy water pump from autozone or a crappy thermostat from autozone? Maybe just crappy autozone.

I guess I'll bleed the radiator. Any special trick to this on f-bodies?
