Need Positive Cable for 99TA

Called the dealer and its $98 we dont mind paying that if its the only place to get a replacement..

IS that the only place we can get the cable or is there anywhere else?

I had to do the same thing. Got it at the Stealership. The battery terminal pulled out with the bolt, and I could not get it off the cable.

It's a bitch getting it in the wire loom down to the starter when you do it.

i know its not a sponsor, but i got mine from rockauto. i cannot recall the price, but it was in the neighborhood of 40 to 45 bucks

does anyone have a part # for the cable? i wont be able to call the dealership until later this week, but if i can find it now i can order it and have it by the time i get back

If not ill find someone that can call and get the number for me..

the part number for the orginal delco cable is 4SX53-2

thanks.. i was able to get someone to call and get the price and part number from a different dealer.. this dealer wants $73 and gave me the following info:

Positive Cable
#12157131
Dealer = $73
gmpartsdirect.com = $37

I mean this dealer is cheaper, but why such a big difference in price between dealers?
