Default Header Clearance

I recently swapped from flowtech long tubes to the new TSP headers. At my apartment complex I noticed that my collectors scrape whenever I go over the speed bumps. Any suggestions on how I can protect my new headers?

Take things at an angle? We have this stuff in the Air Force called speed tape.. aka Metal Tape. It was meant for battle damage repairs on F-4's. This stuff is really sticky aluminum. I guess coat those things with this stuff. Go to a hardware store and look for metal tape. Make sure it can withstand heat. Thats all I can think of.

Put on a lift kit
You can't really do much but that tape will not last long and will have to retape it daily most likely. If your car has springs on it, put the stockers back on if so. If you still have stockers then you are going to have to take gutters and speed bumps at an angle the best you can to attempt not the scrap them. Not much more you can do other than moving to ARH of Kooks which have the best ground clearance overall.

Any suggestions on where to get the speed tape, is it heat resistant enough?

Yes it will take heat but is EXTREMELY expensive for tape. In the long run you could buy another set of headers now to save a couple bucks. The aluminum is so thin that truthfully, it won't do that much. If you saw it, you would understand. It is like tinfoil, just aluminum instead. Remember, you get what you pay for.
