Passenger's Seat Seizure
You know when you're driving down the interstate around 70mph, cruising along, and your passenger's seat back is wobblings side to side with the seat belt clip rattling against it driving you nuts? On my Trans Ams I always tucked the seat belt clip in between the leather and the plastic shell that covered the back of the seat. On the Camaro I'm SOL.
What are you guys doing to quiet this down? Is it possible to tighten up the seat back at all so that it'll stop shaking around like it's having a seizure?

Haha mine does this too. Irritating.
What I did temporarily was stuff the belt buckle in the plastic belt guide. It kinda wedged in there and stopped being so annoying.
Then the rear seat back started squeaking

Even with the belt clip wedged in the seat still shakes and makes a good deal of noise. Any way to tighten it up? Or am I going to be forced to stuff a towel between the center console and the side of the seat?

Go 5 mph slower or faster. That's around the car's natural frequency, so the vibrations are unavoidable. If you travel at 70 mph a lot, a new spring/shock setup may change things - not sure. (Most states were all under 65 mph speed limits at the time these cars were designed.)
Do you notice different vibrations in 5th vs. 6th gear? Shifting to 6th may also help.

What he said. Its just the natural frequency. Try hanging a shirt or towel off the seat back. Sometimes that added wt. helps.

Worse in 6th than in 5th, happens anywhere between 70-80mph, speed limits are 70mph here so that really doesn't work well for me. I need a fix, or I need to replace these seats with some that are tighter.

You might try calling one of the suspension supplier sponsors for a long term fix or look at GTO seats for a short term fix. (There are a number of posts showing how they fit - and they are much nicer than what we have.)

Are you guys serious? Not one person has told the OP to check the four nuts holding the seat down... NICE.
On each corner of the seat rails is one nut holding down that corner. To get the front two you need to move the seat all the way back. To get the rear two, you need to move the seat all the way forward. Mine were loose and I tightened them down good and the problem mostly went away. It still shakes a little due to the design, but not violently like it used to. If all four bolts are tight and it still rattles unacceptably, tear apart the seat and look to see if you can insert a shim somewhere that will stop the rattling. I think it's best just to buy aftermarket seats like Arizens or the one that 6LE has (I'm going to get them one of these days).

The stock seat back mechanism is not the greatest. I've had other GMs with the same recliner and they all rattle.

The seat back shakes, not the bottom. I wouldn't be driving around with a seat halfway bolted down, LOL.
GTO seats actually fit!? I loved them in my GTO. Would be really nice to swap a set in. Some 6LE seats would probably be much more cost effective though.

GTO seats fit but they look way too big for an F-body interior (almost to the headliner). I'd love to try some C6 seats but they've been too expensive just "to try".

Yea, there are threads on this site showing pictures, etc. They are far more comfortable than what we received stock. I'm contemplating sabotaging my existing seats so "the boss" will approve a GTO seat purchase.
