Default O2 Sensors?

Denso part #2344025

Is this the correct part number for O2 sensors for a car that has headers.

I want a sensor that is good and does not need extensions. Dont want varibles of voltage drops.

Thanks

Not sure about those, but Bosch 13111 will work. From a Corvette... they have long wires so you won't need extensions. Have them on my car, no problems x2 years.

Ok sounds good. Should the quality of Bosch be a question?

Just wondering.

Densos are the best 02 sensors you can buy. Better design then Bosch or AC Delco's. The sensor heads are designed the way an 02 sensor head should be.

Bosch are hit and miss. Some people have luck with them, some people, LIKE ME, Bosch will simply not allow my engine to run at all.

Densos are $45.00 each, with the extra long wiring and plug built in. www.rockauto.com

Also....Densos are the new official GM 02 sensors. Thats what they sell for upwards of $180.00 each at the dealerships. I've had them in my LT's for almost a year, they're perfect.

I bought denso's... no problems with them at all, my last two bosch sensors flared up from time to time and eventually went bad. I've had denso's for a year, and they're still kickin.

Yeah, my car starting acting up years ago when I was in my last 30 miles of a 200 mile trip home. All of a sudden it started stumbling while I was cruising at 70mph. I got it home and the next day my friend at a dealership scanned it and instantly saw one of my 02 sensors was not switching properly. They were my 1998 originals and this was in 2006, so I got a shitload of good use out of them.
I decided to buy two new ones since they were both so old.

I picked up some Bosch sensors at Advance Auto on my way to the race shop. I had no lift at the time to do it myself.

They put them both in and I started it up. The engine sounded like it was literally going to fall apart. Coughing, stuttering, misfiring and backfiring...it was pathetic. At first we thought there was something else wrong. The owner of the shop came out and asked if I got new GM 02 sensors. I said I got Bosch sensors. He said take them back and go by the dealership and get AC Delcos and come back. I used my friends car who worked at that shop to go get them. I returned the Bosch and got a full refund. Went to the dealer and got AC Delcos, came back, screwed them in, started it up and it ran like new. I left and that was it.

Then last year in December I needed to replace one of those. So I ordered two new AC Delco's from Bennett Auto. When they came in I went to pick them up. They cost $150.00 each or something like that. Dealership was like $180 each, even with my discount from my buddy.

I opened the boxes to check them and they were Densos. I said to the guy, "hey man, whats up with this ****, these are not AC Delcos". He said, "thats what came to us." I then asked him to go in the back and pull a Denso sensor so I could look at it. It was 100% identical. The package, the sealed bag, the instruction pamphlet, etc....

So I pulled out my phone and called my friend who works at Sheehan Pontiac parts department. He said GM has been using Densos as their own farmed-out factory sensor for awhile. So of course I bought the Densos which were $120 for both...instead of getting ripped off again by GM and paying $300 for two pretty AC Delco boxes and two Denso sensors....lol.

Densos are better than the originally GM AC Delco sensors. GM probably realized that slits in the sensors tip is not as good as the holes that are in the Denso sensors.

Get them and you will not regret it. Not worth messing with Bosch, plus Densos are cheaper.

Just buy the Densos from www.rockauto.com with the lobest plug wires. Then just zip-tie the extra wire to the frame.

Rock Auto:

DENSO Part # 2344000 11.77" long wire and plug. $48.99

DENSO Part # 2344087 11.81" long wire and plug. $40.00

DENSO Part # 2344025 16.54" long wire and plug $40.00

Get whatever you want...they all work the same in any position, front, back, driverse side, passengers side, any year LS1 from 1997-2002...doesn't matter. Only difference is the length of the wires. Sensors are 100% identical.

I know the Vette rears fit but what length is needed for long tubes? What research i did for the Bosch part number in this post says the wire on that 13111 sensor is 50 inches long. .. ?

LS6 You posted the part numbers and the lengths, but i don't have one to measure right now. How long do they need to be?

First post is referencing the longest Densos posted, which is 16 inches. I dont really want to use extensions or cut O2 wires. My Bosch's are terrible. I got the car from my buddy and he warrantied the Boschs 7-10 times within the year.

I'd guess about 24-30". I made my own extensions so I can just buy normal stuff... can always just remove the extension later too.
