Default i need help with annoying problem

since i got the car, the drivers window has not worked right. it only moves in small increments (up & down). when i push button it will move alittle bit and then it just stops, then i have to wait a while before it will work again.somtimes it will move like 3" but usually it barely moves. so basically it takes me like a couple hrs to roll my window down(or up),VERY annoying!

the guy i bought it from said it is the electric motor, but im not to sure thats the problem. i dont want to spend 60 bucks on a motor and not fix the problem.mabe wiring?switch?passenger side works fine

has anyone had this problem? thanks

btw, i didnt really know where to post this.let me no where if not here.

Im new here to so im not sure if it is in the right spot, but anyway i had the same problem with my window. The window motors in these cars are known to suck. First my drivers side motor went and now my passenger side is slowing down. It would only go up in small incraments and i would have to wait about 5 minutes before i could move it up another few inches. I had the motor replaced and its fine now. Hopefully this helps you.

It is your motor, no doubt. Look around there is a great write-up some where for the swap. I recommend auto zone motors because they have a lifetime warranty.

Here is all you need to know:

I bought my window motor for like $30 on Amazon and used this guide to replace it. Worked great when I finished.
