Challenge to all you real mechanics out there...figure this out ALTERNATOR IS FINE, BRAND NEW BATTERY, FUSSES ARE ALL GOOD, NO CODES BEING THROWN...WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH MY CAR..HERES A VIDEO OF WHAT THE CAR IS DOING AND NOT DOING (STARTING) CAN SOME ONE HELP ME OUT. THANKS

pop off a plug wire and get an extra spark plug to plug into, crank it for a second and see if it sparks. if so then you can rule out spark. next thing I would do is check fuel pressure but you will need a fuel pressure gauge you can get at autozone or something. throw that on the shrader valve and see what its at.

Easiest stuff first: Turn the key to the ON position. Do you hear the fuel pump turning on? You should hear a whir of sorts from the back of the car. If you hear it, get the fuel pressure gauge and see what your priming pressure is...Keep us informed...

my buddy just bough an lt1 that woudlnt start they told us it was the opti. it wasnt. doesn't mean yours isnt. what we did was what they're suggesting. check spark, check fuel. his ended up being the vats. i thought the car woudnt turn over i it was the vats(lik my ls1) but his would turn over, but the injectors wouldnt get the fuel pulse. so he bougght the bypass module (not the resistor trick) and it worked. somethin to look into if you find out you arent getting fuel.
