What is this and why would it be cut in half (pic)
this is a hose on the rear of the driver side vaulve cover...it's a hose that looks like it came out when into this other side and it looks like it's cut in half or burned better yet, also the tube itself is just laying on the back of the intake and the other side isn't connected to anything either...
-Breather on the drivers side valve cover.
-Cap everything else off.
-Except....run a hose from the passengers side valve cover to the intake vacuum port.
-Put a PCV valve in-line as well as a needle valve.
-Then you regulate how strong you want the vacuum pull to be.
You don't need much.

As soon as I capped mine off my oil burning problems 100% stopped.
Granted though....with my needle valve set up I guess I could just turn the suction way down....but I would much rather suck from a valve cover than too take that important oil mist from the crankcase...espeically at high rpms.

I took a cigarette and saw the smoke getting sucked right in. Fresh air goes in and across the entire engine, then gets sucked out the passengers side port into the intake. The needle valve can be turned 100% off, full open and have ALOT of suction....or anywhere inbetween.
Pictures below of some of the stuff I bought.

It pulls air in nicely. The needle valve lets me set it to any suction level I want.
