my moms 99 z28 is in jeoprady of being sold! help me fix it! My mom bought this car brand new first owner first car she bought blah blah. Why I'm here, about a year ago it began to not start. And when this would happen all of the gauges would tac put and go back down and the light would dim in nd dim out, it was a brand new battery (within the week) and I had checked all the terminal connections. This would all happen at the turn of the key. Any ideas fellas? My step-dad is pushing her too sell it, I don't want that happening to her first car love.

And don't forget to charge the battery again. I had this same problem a long time ago, and I never could figure it out, until I kicked myself after thinking long and hard about the electrical system. The lights would dim, and alternator would then drain the battery to get voltage, until the battery died.
