Default Anybody know if u can replace power windows

Just curious if u can switch power windows to regular manual windows cause my drivers side went out, and i dont know if it has a motor in ther that just went out but it doenst want to roll down and its dead and i really dont know if goin to dealer looking for the part is goin to be any cheaper than getting a manual setup, what would u guys do, leave it alone, replace the broken part or replace with manual setup.

and does anybody know if u can do it or will it be bitch to do it

Thanks,

Go to yer local auto parts store, you can buy a replacement, & there's a webpage that explains how to do it, ..., But I don't have the page bookmarked here on my work computer, ...

Try that "Search" function up there on the right, or try the ol' Google search, ..., I'm sure there's info here on the same subject, ...

Good Luck!

As suggested above, you should use the Advanced Search feature and limit it to "Stereo & Electronics" and "Appearance & Detailing".

Here is a link I found during a a quick search:

I replaced my drivers side in 45 minutes. You just have to have a drill to get through the fiberglass and rivits. I used http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html
