I'm pretty sure those screws just keep the part in place but the tape is what really holds it down. (Otherwise, why would any one use the tape in the first place?) You can get small rolls of the 3M mounting tape for less than $10 at any parts store.

I used superglue to secure the new strips on my bar a couple of years ago and they are still on perfectly.

The tape package should look like this: (the tape comes in different widths, so you'll want to match that dimension up)

Anyone have a picture of these installed? I can't figure out which one is which and how they are oriented. I feel like I'm going to put them opposite and upside down and it look dumb. Mine were already missing so I have nothing to compare it to.

The one in the back is more angular when looked at from the side. The front is more curved.

That was posted over 2 1/2 years ago and his profile shows he last activity was 2 years ago so I wouldn't expect a response.

I found where you can buy them but you may not like the price.

Oh geez I totally forgot about these at the junkyard the other day, I'm heading back for a spare middle piece and every seal I can get my hands on.

$50. Not just no but, hell no! It's not lambo parts, dipped in gold, coated in diamond, and shipped from Italy in a private jet.
