Can a bad BCM cause "Security" issues? I know that I am having BCM problems, as I have the awesome problem of my radio randomly turning on and off. But the other day my Security light came on in my dash and stayed on for about 3 minutes; it started up and ran fine. The car was not messed with as it didn't beep when I unlocked it (like when something causes the alarm to go off). The next day my motor refused to turn and my Security light stayed on. After locking/unlocking the car and turning the ignition several times it finally came on. Today the light came on but it still fired up right away. It usually will fire up no problem and cause no light, but this is happening more often.
So, does this sound like my BCM problem is getting worse?
