New 98 Trans Am , need help with fog lights ok so this is my 4th trans am but first ls1 , is there somthing special you have to do to turn the fog light on without the headlights comming up cause as soon as i turn the parking lights the headlights come up.. can anyone help me

Well, every time my headlights came up with my parking lights being turned on (only) it was because a headlight motor was shot. I would think that's the only reason your headlights move when the parking lights are turned on.... whether the headlights themselves are on or not (which they shouldn't be; they should just come up). May want to check and make sure the motors work right and the gear isn't stripped out of one. Normally you'll hear an obnoxious grinding but I suppose it's possible you don't.

it soulds like they spin for a while with nothing happeneing ...... thanks for the imput whats the price on motors? should i buy the motors or should i try the gears first?

And one of those things is.....the lights WILL pop up if you just turn the light **** to parking lights to just have the fog lights come on.
Until you swap the gear (for free) or change the motor out.....you can't have just the fogs on with the lights in the down position.

could anyone provide me with a breif explantion off how to do that?? do i have to take the headlight out what exactly do i need to do??? sorry im new to this issue and dont know much about it
