Default One of my T/A Fog Lights Isn't Working

I noticed that my passenger side fog light isn't coming on so I replaced the bulb. That didn't fix it though. I checked all the fuses and they look good, plus the other fog light works fine. What gives???

Socket could be burned out. Pull the socket, put a bulb in it, and test w/ an ohmeter for a complete circuit. If the socket is good, time to trace the wires.

Are you saying to cut the wires to the socket and remove it? I actually did put my volt meter on the socket prongs earlier and wasn't seeing much change in mV's. The prongs LOOKED clean enough though.

I've never fiddled with one of them so I assumed that it would be like the usual set-up where the socket can be detached from the wires. Also, light bulb grease. Use it. It protects your sockets and bulbs and actually enhances the electron flow between bulb and socket.

you should have your digital multimeter on dc voltage...
heres your schematic of your foglamp system..r/f lamp to be exact..
if youve got no voltage at the foglamp connector, your next step is gonna be to go to the next connector in-line, which is connector s160...below this pic theres a description of the location of this connector..it will be located behind the driverside headlamp. take that connection apart and take a look in there to see if anything is questionable, corrosion and what not. and well go from there.

S160
In the forward lamp harness, approximately 4 cm (1.6 in) from the electronic throttle control (ETC) module/cruise control

It looks like from the diagram that the S160 connector would be behind the PASSANGER side headlight, is that not right?

i was thinking about the module thats in the driver wheel well, i cant remember if thats the traction control module or cruise..but all aside, it would sound more ligit if it were where you mentioned.

What about grounds? It looks like from the pic that each light has its own ground, although the wires both go into the same cover at first.

I have checked all the wires, the grounds, and the plugs with PROPER testing methods with the volt meter, I even cut the wires from the plug because that's what I initially thought was bad. I had stabbed into the wires and got a reading, but now that the wires are cut, NOTHING! I cannot figure this out!

maybe youve got corrosion inside the wire insulation that rotted the wire out?

The wire that I cut out looked fine. Is there actualy a dedicated PLUG somewhere that each of the fog lights both go to? All I found was that each light goes to a pigtail of other light wires on both sides and on to the fuses and PCM.
