when I buy a used car I'd do it just for the hell of it, the previous owner could have said they've done it but honestly you can never be sure. I also do that so I know what is in my car is approved for my liking. If you got some free time and you want to do I'd do it just be prepared for the hassle with cylinder #8

Same here. Just did mine the other night. I actually did all plugs & wires and never even had to remove the coils on the passenger side. My arms now look like a heard of cats have attacked me, lol. You WILL have to go underneath the car for that rear plug though. I'm now moving on to O2 sensors, knock senors, swapping in a LS6 Valley Cover, changing Oil Pressure Sending Unit (even though it doesn't need it. Prevenative Maintenance so to speak)...etc. I have a long way to go, but it'll sure feel good to have it completed.

Delcos are ganna be with car came with stock oem quality sometimes is best. NGK also makes a great plug either way I think you'll be satisfied just be sure to gap the plugs I think the spec is .040 (dont quote me on that) even if it says pre-gapped if the box gets thrown around in the parts store it'll throw off the gap

I went with MSD wires and NGK TR5 plugs. IF I had to do it over I would have chose iridiums for the fact you don't have to change them as much. Using my friend a ASE Master Mechanic with skinny arms and his lift it still took us forever on the passenger side. Between that and swapping my intake my arms have looked like I lost a battle to some cats all spring long.
