Default Left (drivers side) blinker will not blink when lights are on

My drivers side blinker will blink fine with the lights off, but when I turn on the parking or headlights, it wont blink! I have replaced the flasher (electronic EL12 now), checked the grounds, and replaced the bulb and it hasn't helped. The right side works fine, all lights are working. What could the problem be? Bulb socket? It didn't look bad inside but I'm trying to figure out how to stick a wire to the socket and make a new ground to see if that's the problem because the high and low side of the filament works. Thanks!

Also, this is a 95 Trans Am and I just did the DRL mod - http://personal.atl.bellsouth.net/b/...e_made_drl.htm

Not sure if it was working before the DRL mod since the cars been down for months, but if I have the DRL's (high side of the filament) on the left blinker works. But if I have the regular park lights or headlights on the left blinker doesn't work.

Also, with the hazards on all lights flash like normal. Every now and then the flasher relay under the dash will click and the green arrow on the dash lights up but the left front parking light wont blink. The rears do blink.

I unplugged my homemade DRL (which is just a relay) and wired it back like normal and it now blinks but blinks half the speed of the other side?? And sometimes kinda stops blinking.

I got it working now even with the homemade DRL's but I swear the left side still blinks slower, but just barely. Its hard tot ell really. I just cleaned the grounds and changed a couple bulbs (that weren't bad). I guess it will be okay.
